Hello!

Thank you for the great application!

I have some proposals for you:
- synchronize user's favourite list on the server
- add a "search" field that will search through all stations
- web version of the screamer :)

Thanks again!
Bye!

Well, you can look at it this way. The current version of Screamer depends
on Windows and the next version of Screamer depends on the .NET-framework.
Any Windows-computer since Vista already have everything needed installed.
.NET even allows me to consider making versions of Screamer for OS X and
perhaps Android or iPhone.. though I will definitely finish the Windows
version first.

C++ is the very reason I haven't updated Screamer Radio all that much these
past years, it is a pain. .NET is what I know and I know it well.

Sometimes a man just has to look forward in order to go somewhere.

PS, yes I still use BASS under the hood

I've used, liked and recommended your program a lot, but I'm afraid you can
kiss "It's not bloated" goodbye if you go with .NET for your next version.

There is nothing I dislike more in software than bloat and "newer computers
only". Therefore, I don't like .NET. I can understand it from a
programmer's point of view, but the (huge) dependencies practically limit
it's use to newer computers only.

Sure, the screenshot looks nice, with the album cover and playlist view,
but this can be done in C/C++ too.

Will you still be using the BASS libraries?

All in all, great as is, please reconsider using .NET.

Wow, take a year or two off? How on earth would I afford that? And I
haven't promised anything. But I am working on it, it takes a lot of work
mind you. I probably have about 200-300 hours of work left before it is
ready for release.. so it will be a while longer.

I do answer relevant emails when I can, I do not have time to answer
everything everywhere though. Screamer Radio is still a project I work on
in my spare time, however lately I've managed to put in about 20 hours a
week into the project.
